Holiday Party Outfit Idea

Our company's annual Christmas party has since been canceled because of, you guessed it, bad economic conditions. Too bad, just when I had started coming up with ideas on what to wear. I'll just share it here!!

Last year, it was held at a bar/club in the City and of course the party goers are people I work with. Keeping that in mind, I figured to go "cocktail/conservative". I have several alternatives. Here's one idea in pictures.

An unbuttoned tux inspired blazer over

+

a fitted tank or lace top / cami tuced into

+
a pouf-y / tiered colored short skirt worn a little high on the waist with

+

black opaque tights and black heels / booties

+
accessorized with a stack of different media & width bracelets/bangles

+
geometric / drop earrings



+
a good sized clutch (with a strap preferably)

Voila! Work/party environment appropriate enough right?
*sigh*
