Loomstate for Target

Rogan Gregory first designed a Go International Line for Target last year. Just in time for Earth Day, Loomstate for Target launched last Sunday. Loomstate, founded by Scott Hahn and Rogan Gregory is one of the first designer brands that created awareness on the importance of going green by using certified organic cotton produced by sustainable methods. Read more about the brand here. What better way to raise not just eco-friendly awareness but also create brand exposure? Not everyone can afford to plop $84 on a t-shirt at Barneys. I love Target for bringing this to the masses at affordable prices that start at $14.99.

I tried a few things on and the material was soft and felt good on the skin. Benefits of organic cotton perhaps?

Check out Racked for all the looks. Purr-fect for lazy summer days. Hopefully, this won't be Loomstate's last collab with Target.

Order Cancellation

I ordered this taray Alexander McQueen for Target zig zag print one shoulder dress on impulse last week. The more I looked at it, the more it just didn't make sense to buy something of the moment even if it is by McQueen. I went ahead and cancelled the order. The estimate ship date wasn't until April which helped in the mental debate. It's not 'daily me', the ribbon on the waist/obi bugged me and I would not have maximized its use. It would have hung in my closet for months. Victory! Victory for a full time student!!!! Yeah!! kkkkkk

Whim By Cythia Rowley

I like the idea of Cynthia Rowley's "world". I still have her book Swell from awhile ago that my mom gave me. She reminds me of a tamer Betsey Johnson/Kate Spade.

Her new collection at Target is CUTE! According to Target.com, "the collection was based on the idea that entertaining should be easy - fast as it is fun, colorful as it is convenient" These are my favorites:

The mini binoculars was a fun addition!

Ladybug print clear tote. The only insect that you can deem cute!
Sail boat print tote - This can double as a diaper bag for the mommies out there!
Picnic mat - If i didn't have my Gap banig one already, I would buy this to keep in my car!

Martini glasses! - the design of the glass seems more fun/relaxed than the usual.

Hot Pink Drink Shaker - I'd be making drinks all day!

Sun Tea (tea brewed by sunlight) anyone? The first time I tasted sun tea was y.e.a.r.s ago at a family friend's house in Colorado during one of our family's many US road trips. Yum Yum! Maybe I should try making it now with this Sun Tea Glass Jar

And to top it all off -- A floppy hat!

More Eco Stuff

A lot of companies are truly getting on with going green. It being earth week and all, I thought I'd post these finds at Target. With the explosion of eco bags these are a cute addition for toiletries.

Go International Private Label

Check out Target's in house designers take on Go International. while in between collaborations with fashion designers. Price range is from $17-$50. Not bad at all. Here are a few of the pieces that I like from what I've seen.

this romper was effortlessly stylish. hated the material they used though. it was some polyester/satiny fabric that I know will most likely stick to your skin.

this was a winner. fit in all the right places too. 100% cotton shell and lining.

Another winner. Favorite detail was the neckline and invisible pockets.

the ruffled top came in black and white as well. a little see through. Not too keen on the trousers.

looked great but again, i have a problem with the material. It seemed that it would easily wrinkle.

I read that Rogan Gregory is up next this May. Known for his work for Edun, a "conscious consumerism company" put up by Bono and wife Ali Hewson. I'm curious to see how the clothes are supposedly eco-friendly

Hello Kitty Hello

I was at Target.

I almost made myself fit into the girls' pjs. I can sometimes fit into the size 16s!

I want the tees too.

The hoodie and mini were still too big for my niece.

I ended up with band aids instead. Hello Kitty fix satisfied.

I'm Lusting

...for this tulip skirt from Target's Go International Luella Bartley line. I first saw this in the Feb ish of Vogue. It's driving me insane. They don't have it in stock online anymore. I have to hunt it down before the collection goes away end April. I'm dying! Die. Die. Die. Want. Want. Want. Gazillion outfit ideas...

Today I am thankful for:
- this one possibility/opportunity *crossing my fingers*
- being able to drive my sis-in-law to the hospital
