I Miss The Hedgehog

Just now, I heard the familiar video game music of Sonic, The Hedgehog. My younger brother was watching this show featuring oldie video games on cable. Remember that game on Sega Genesis? Oh my, I miss playing that!!! I miss zipping through the different worlds at top speed, bouncing around in the special level collecting as much rings as you can and making Sonic wait so that he'd do those funny poses. I actually enjoyed playing video games then. Now, I can't quite keep up with all these high-speed, high-powered game consoles out there. There's just too many buttons for my own good that in the short-lived minutes that I tried playing NBA Live '05 with my bf, my fingers hurt. I miss the 'old school' game consoles like Family Computer & NES (& Super too). And oh, I too can play Mario Bros. (Cart & all). ;)
