Domestication?

Here's what I did today:
  • Stir-fried brunch (Japanese marinated pork cutlets & gyoza)
  • Prepared my dad's 'work' food
  • Listed down ingredients I still needed for a few recipes I want to try out (Okay, I am attempting, never mind that it's feeble. tra la la.)
  • Went to the bank to make deposits
  • Bought 'the list' at two different groceries
  • Finished my dad's laundry
  • Vacuumed the entire house ( I was laughing to myself )
  • Dusted what needed dusting
  • Threw out the garbage
  • Grilled dinner (Korean beef, enoki mushrooms, onions)
  • Planned what food to prepare for tomorrow
All of this is still new to me. Back home, I never had to do this. I'd wake up, everything would be prepared like THAT. I'd just tell my manang and driver what needed to be accomplished for the day. Okay, bratinella talking. Sheltered. Spoiled. Whatever. It was just the norm back home to have things done for you. Everyone (or majority) I knew was like this. Anyway, It's kind of cool. Kinda like playing house or make believe only for real. Hahaha =) It's not so bad. Oh Michelle, Michelle. Still a lot of firsts... Bear with me. I'm getting there.
Today I am thankful for:
- vacuum cleaners

patty: well, not entirely. my dad's not the type na "inaalagaan" naman. He likes to do stuff on his own but I try to do what I can. as for my attempts at cooking, EWAN KO!!! hahaha :)
