Photo Dumpster, Termite Guy, Fake Tan

To flickr or not to flickr ? I've been looking for a trusty photo organizer and this is topping my list. There's shutterfly , picturetrail, dotphoto etc... and trusty Y! Photos which I'm currently using. I like to keep my e-life in one place (keeping track of multiple usernames and passwords gives me a headache) and Yahoo! pretty much does the job fine. I just wish they'd improve the Photos features more.

My dad accompanied a termite inspector at my brother's house today. But I won't be talking about termites =) Of course there was the usual small talks and chit chats, then he got around to gushing about how "the Philippines is Paradise!" Turns out, the termite inspector has been going to our country; particularly Cebu, for the past four years for vacation. He said that the first time he went was a bit hard because they didn't know crap about anything but as they got around to knowing the culture in their succeeding trips. It's been nothing but bliss. They actually know a Filipino family there who takes them around. He said that Filipinos are uber friendly people too. Nothing but smiles all the way. Of course, relatively cheap too, their $$$ is worth a lot. He says that he tells all his friends to go to the Philippines because it's just "paradise on earth". Good for us!

After keeping track of all the political hoopla back home via inq7.net (I miss my morning paper!!!) , now this is refreshing to hear. I wish they'd all just shut up and freaking do their jobs. They keep pointing their icky fingers at others when these blasted politicos are all one and the same. tsk tsk! It's sooo irritating.

Anyway, back to beautiful places, I miss Bora (that termite guy should go here!!!)and my Bora tan. I can't believe it's been six months! I'm sooo tempted to get a fake bake courtesy of tanning lotions & sprays. I'm just afraid of coming out orange!
I got my library request for Frommer's Portable Paris today and Greece is on it's way. I want to collect these guidebooks. There's also Lonely Planet . I'm not sure which series is better yet so I'm only going to borrow from the library first to compare. Even if I don't have immediate plans of going to Europe as of now, it won't hurt to do some advance research now would it??? Paris, here I come!!!
