Moving back to blogger forced me to go through a couple of posts from the past five years. They made me laugh, cringe, smirk, nod in agreement, shake my head, wonder where time went, feel grateful etc...yada yada yada. That, as a blog name, now feels 'alien' to me. Change is the only constant thing right? In the words of my best friend to me before I left Manila last February -- We have evolved! Why not evolve my blog too with a name change? I should probably be more specific on what this blog's topics are but then again most of what I've written were done on a whim. Fashion, work, shopping, traveling, food, thinking, whining, living... & ... & ... - related whims. I thought okay Whim In Progress sounds about right, for now that is.
Okay enough of that. Let's get things going with my footwear department. I have a ton of flats. I don't get how I don't own classic black leather ballerinas. I don't have funding for Lanvin at the moment so I have zeroed in on these from J.Crew. Sweet at $98. Now if only I can find them in stores for a quick try-spin.
How's that for an I-need-basic-footwear whim?
