Old Navy Spring 08

I used to see the sample collections seasons ahead when I worked for Old Navy distribution. We'd discuss wrapping up current Spring and move on to planning for next Spring. Our department would provide inputs on what sold well size/color/style not so much in dollars but number of units wise during cross functional meetings. *sigh* I still miss it sometimes. Anyway, lately, the merchandise they've been offering is worth taking note of. Here's what I saw last week:

Patterns! Notice T-strap flats in colorful patent. Here's a picture from oldnavy.com. I'm quite taken by the embellished style.The printed footbed adds a little quirkiness to the plain ones.

Maxi dresses! I have not found MY maxi dress yet. Length is a challenge for little me.

Envelope clutches that convert into handbags by a few button snaps. Wood frame clutches too!Enamel Jewelry! A little behind trend wise but still doable this spring!!! My favorites are the white enamel snake ring and seahorse necklace.

Okay now wear those T-strap flats with a nice maxi dress OR a crisp white shirt paired with shorts/minis/jeans and throw in one piece, maybe two from the enamel jewelry collection too.
