My Monthly Ordeal

In my book, one of the worst pains ever (if not the absolute worst) is dysmenorrhea. I've cut class, work & fainted because of this. Living & functioning normally comes to a halt anywhere from a week before 'the' day until it goes away on vacation to get ready to pounce on me come the next month. Name any symptom (dizziness, craving for food, nausea, bloating, crazy mood swings, headaches, chills, bruising etc...) and I've experienced it in three to five different combinations. Pain killers can only go so far as curbing the cramps but hardly do anything for my back pains. Oh God, I can't even begin to describe how my lower back feels. It's like my tail bone's being squished! Sometimes I just want to scream the piercing pain away!!! ;) These are the times when I'd trade anything to be a guy (who'll NEVER get what it feels like) for that week (only a week!). I've gone to the doctors and turns out I'm quite special. I'm just built to be this way. No need to elaborate so much on the details, I'd really rather be un-special in this case. Hehe! =) In the mean time, sleeping is the next best thing to Ibuprofen.
