Hot & Crusty

I first ate at Hot & Crusty a week ago. I really liked the sandwiches there particularly the paninis. We were in the Upper East Side again today so I couldn't resist asking my parents for a quick bite at this small cafe. The cafe serves sandwiches, salads, desserts, cookies. Mostly food you can easily have to go. We got the Chicken Fajita, Italliano (chicken w/ pesto) & Meatless Paninis. Oh YUM! Each panini had its own unique taste. I couldn't choose which one was my favorite among the three kinds that we ordered. The cafe bakes their own bread and sandwich spreads. They had a lot of YuMMy looking pies, cakes, tarts, mousses & oooh cookies! Drat! I should have ordered dessert! I was TOO full with the panini with all the potato chips that came with it. I'm pretty sure that we'll be dropping by that place to eat again. Then, there WILL BE room for dessert. Back in the Phils. I only enjoyed the sandwiches at Cibo & Plaid Sandwich Company. Now, I can find even more mouth-watering sandwich places.

I soo want to find the best sandwich/panini places in NYC. How I wish there was a sort of food tour you can go on. You pay the fee, get on a food tour bus, and it will take you to the best places to eat in town where you'd just taste test their best sellers at sample sizes all day ;)
